This is Clair
(aka The Cake Serving Hatch)

From a young age, Clair was around baking.
Fond memories are recalled of sitting on a stool in the kitchen, watching intently whilst her Nan made hundreds of batches of cupcakes for various fundraisers for the Red Cross.
Or even acting as “quality control” (tasting was imperative) as her Mum churned out the family favourite chocolate cake, “helping” to pour the oozy chocolate ganache and patiently (or impatiently, dependant on whom you ask) waiting for the first slice to be cut.
This is where the obsession for food made with love was born.
An innate love of baking was cultivated at school, with numerous cakes and bakes made for final projects (best not ask her folks how many brownies they had to consume whilst recipe testing!), only added fuel to her fire.
After a while, baking became a form of escapism from the daily grind for Clair.
Friends and family continued to encourage Clair to follow her strong baking instincts, especially after sampling the dessert table at her wedding that she catered herself.
